It’s officially Fall! Here comes football season, pumpkin spice lattes, and us Southerners bundling up like a blizzard is coming in 70 degrees. In case you’re looking for a cafe to sip and chill or work, we’ve got the line up of the latest! These cafes have only been open for less than 5 months, so you’ve got to try them out.

If you’re looking for Parisian, then our first pick is Mirabelle Cafe. They serve the most decadent Belgian Leige Waffles topped with pretty much anything you can think of. There are sweet and savory options too. Not feeling waffles? There are paninis, salads, and of course the usual cafe beverages.
P.S. The Croque Monsieur waffle was heaven!
6 East State St.

Whether you’re running on an empty stomach or craving macarons, you will find your fancy here. Outside of the traditional cafe fare, their menu offers full breakfast options, sandwiches, salads, and soups. Our Daily Bread is from the same woman that brought Savannah Mabel’s Cupcake Emporium, so the display of desserts just might have you drooling.
140 Abercorn St.

Last but not least is one of the most cozy spots of the bunch. Cup-to-Cup is the brick and mortar storefront of Cup-to-Cup Coffee Roasters. These guys take pride in their coffee and provide artisan blends. We can’t wait to grab a seat in their comfy seating areas while sipping a Chai Tea Latte on a chilly autumn day.
102 E. Broughton St.
Blends is located conveniently on Broughton and is a bright, feel good spot to set up your workspace or chat with friends while people watching. The baristas are all knowledgeable on their numerous gourmet blends, and you’ll probably leave with a new favorite that you didn’t know you’d love!
53 Montgomery St.
Parlez vous francais? Yes or no, this is the perfect place to practice! Locally owned and operated by a fantastic couple from France, they offer French classic done classically. Authetic crepes, sandwiches, and breads are their specialties, so bring everyone you know for a taste of France.
